The Sr Director, Technology Operations position will be responsible for leading all production support activities and overseeing systems operations in a 24x7 environment. This includes successfully delivering high-volume processing transactions for Zelis Payments. He/She will work closely with the enterprise Technology and Payments business to accelerate production support, payments processing and operational improvements. Establishes technology production and operational protocols, time commitments and metrics. Protects and scales the technology production and operations environment for business growth. Scales production operations and modernizes solutions for Agile Dev/Ops.. Direct and manage all day-to-day aspects of the technology production support environment activities and operations maintenance teams.. Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues within and across clients includes successful closure of all work items, issues and requests.. Oversee and improve leverage of key platforms (Atomic, Dynatrace) to improve stability and services of the transaction processing environment.. Ensure all technology production operations support and payments files are processed correctly - daily, weekly, monthly per client service agreements.. Partner with Technology Payments team to provide seamless implementation of pre-payments and payments transaction processing.. Report production support and operations performance metrics to key stakeholders, reviews tickets and incident analysis action plans.. Align with the enterprise Technology strategies and communications with payments business leaders on production support and tiered models.. Ensure robust resiliency and recovery for business continuity plans; monitoring resource (CPU, storage) and capacitizing is necessary.. Lead with clarity of direction and engage associates through proactive coaching, performance management and career development growth.. Improve and implement technology production environment best practices and demonstrate reliable client facing service level improvements.. Partner with Technology senior leadership and Human Resources/People Operations to advance people priorities and plans. Has outstanding understanding of methodology required to ensure seamless system operations; inclusive of file import/export, payment routing and processing and security measures. Has solid understanding of SQL & LINQ query languages, SQL database and MS Office applications. Works on assignments that are complex in which judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Thorough knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures. professional experience/qualifications. BS Degree in Computer Sciences field. 7+ years' experience managing a Technical Operations, Production and Support Services Management support team. 10+ years of role progression requiring increasing scope and responsibilities in a dynamic healthcare, technology or financial services business. Exceptional people leadership and cross-functional teamwork. Strong negotiation, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Track record of setting and meeting service level agreements (SLAs) in a complex technology environment and high-volume transaction processing. In depth knowledge of MS .net tech stack, including web application/batch architecture; ability to build basic SQL queries. Ability to create scripts in the shell of the operating system. Must be detail-oriented and message effectively to non-IT groups including interacting with C-suite executives. Payments experience a plus. COMPENSATION:.
