Mackenzie Stuart is currently working on behalf of a Leading global, family own fragrance & flavour manufacturer with a strong foothold in the US market. They have experienced huge growth recently, which has shown that the business is weaker in the Mid-West/Western States. As a result the company have begun to strategize to secure better market penetration and sustainable business in this region and require a Senior Account Manager to lead the way.
You Will Be Responsible For
Building a portfolio of fragrance business from the ground up, targeting key small/mid-sized customers in the Mid-West and beyond.
Business development to attack the market and set the company up with a good pipeline of future business opportunities
Extensive proactive sales work, strategy and business development
Sales management, including full P&L and budget set-up, achieving and improving on targets
Market research, product research and consumer insights to ensure strong market knowledge and leading edge on the competition
Progression offered up to managerial position at VP level, tasked with building a sales team underneath to cover whole West USA.
5+ years experience in a sales role in the US fragrance market
An ability to travel when necessary (over 30%) to meet customers across the territory
Existing customer connections to call upon
Excellent interpersonal skills and communications and negotiations ability are essential, must have an ability to handle customer relationships effectively.
Experience of establishing new business, working independently and with initiative
